Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how DriveRetention LLC (“DriveRetention,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our customer-retention software platform for automotive dealerships (the “Service”). DriveRetention is a business-to-business platform; our direct customers are dealership groups (“Dealers”). We are not directed at, and do not knowingly market to, individual vehicle owners.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Names, business email addresses, phone numbers, and credentials of Dealer staff who use the Service.
  • Dealer business information. Dealership group and location details, plan catalogs, branding, and configuration.
  • Customer data Dealers upload or generate. Information about a Dealer’s own customers (e.g., contact details, vehicles, contracts, and service history) that the Dealer provides or that is created through use of the Service. Dealers determine what data is entered; DriveRetention processes it on the Dealer’s behalf.
  • Usage data. Log data, device and browser information, and actions taken within the Service, used for security, support, and product improvement.
  • Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, secure, and support the Service.
  • To improve and develop the platform and its features.
  • To communicate with Dealer staff about their account, the Service, and support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers (sub-processors) that help us operate the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Twilio — SMS message delivery.
  • Sentry — application error monitoring.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

We may also disclose information to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to this Policy).

Data retention

We retain Dealer and customer data for the duration of the Dealer’s active subscription plus 90 days, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law. Dealers may request export or deletion of their data as described below.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you (or, for a Dealer’s customers, the Dealer acting on their behalf) may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal information. For customer data processed on a Dealer’s behalf, requests should be directed to the relevant Dealer; we will assist the Dealer in fulfilling them. To exercise rights regarding information we control, contact us at info@driveretention.com.

Security

We use encryption at rest and TLS in transit, role-based access controls, and other technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information consistent with industry practice.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
